Serenity Circle - October 2019
Hubby and myself were caught up in the flooding on our way home from a small town called Huntly. At one point we thought we'd have to abandon our travels and seek accommodation overnight, but thankfully we found an alternative route home which was safe to travel. Others weren't so fortunate and had to bed down in places like Banff overnight.

The power of nature is what all art strives to be. The more we can get in tune with the harmony of the planet, the more our art can benefit from that relationship." - Rick Ruben
Yes, nature can be very powerful and destructive but it can also be very beautiful and serene as well, and it is this side I feel drawn to capture.

Ha ha, very true, "every cloud has a silver lining" only sometimes you have to don a pair of wellies to go and find it, lol!

yet everything is accomplished."

We are smaller in number this month but never-the-less big on sharing our passion for photography and all things serenity.
We're heading across the pond to Ohio next to visit Eileen with her post "Something New". Sounds intriguing and I'm really looking forward to reading what Eileen has to share.
About: We are a collaborative group of photographers from various parts of the world - some working professionals, others hobbyists like myself. The Serenity Circle represents a wide range of photography genres with the common theme being serenity moments experienced and captured during the past month. This particular circle was established in April 2015 and is one of the longest running of its kind online. It was set up by Nadeen Flynn, multi-genre photographer and teacher from Northern California. Nadeen has since stepped aside from the circle and moved on to other ventures both online and beyond and we wish her all the very best. The Serenity Circle goes live on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
