"The question is not what you look at but what you see." - Henry David Thoreau
These pink roses are just beginning to wilt but I think they look every bit as beautiful as when they were fresh picked. The buds have opened out fully and in a few days time, the petals will fall back revealing the centre of the rose as in the first image. You can peel back the outer petals when they become a little too jaded like I've done here to increase their life span. As far as I'm concerned, a rose doesn't have to be new to look beautiful, it can be mature and just as gorgeous in the latter stage of it's life too.
