National Flower of Scotland

One legend has it that a sleeping party of Scottish warriors were saved from ambush by an invading Norse army when one of the enemies trod on the spiky plant. His anguished cry roused the slumbering warriors who duly vanquished the invader and adopted the thistle as their national symbol.

Serenity Project - October 2016 - Collaborative Project

Welcome to October's Serenity Project!  Can't believe another month has passed since the last time we posted!  Time seems to pass ever so quickly at the moment, so it was good to slow down and focus on something completely disconnected from all the busyness surrounding these past four weeks.
