Deer in the glen

190/365
A few more photos of the wild deer in the glen (Glencoe).  Loved watching them in their natural habitat and found it a real privilege being able to walk amongst these beautiful creatures so freely.  They didn't seem to mind people getting right up close to them or taking their photographs - maybe the fact they were being fed helped a little, but regardless it was amazing to witness these wild animals mingling happily with humans.

Was chuffed to get the opportunity to feed them out of my hand and was really surprised how gentle they were doing so.  If you are ever in Glencoe, head down the road towards the place where Kings House Hotel used to be before it was demolished and you will find them close by.  A definite 'must see' if you are passing through the glen.

Thank you Jillian. The mountains certainly do offer an amazing backdrop but surprised local photographers don't use it to their advantage re: portraiture and weddings. It's one of the most photographed areas in Scotland re: 'landscape photography' however and images often appear in magazines and books.
